Billboards are placed in highly visible, high traffic areas such as interstates, highways, near intersections, or shopping centers. 

Billboard contracts generally run 12 month periods, with exceptions. Rotary boards are moved every 2-3 months to offer a larger target area.

While there are many sizes of billboards, standard Size is 14' x 48'.
